When I'm not working to pay my bills, sitting in a classroom or "planning" my own wedding, I'm watching HGTV. A show that has recently caught my attention is "Fixer Upper," which first aired in April of 2014. Why? Completing an internship with Student Painters this summer has lit my design and renovation fire. Though I'm a Marketing and Business administration major, my real dreams will always include tearing down walls and shopping the local antique stores for the perfect chair or end table. It may sound cheesy, but it's 100% true.
Recently, I stumbled upon the end of an episode just in time to see "the reveal." It wasn't long before my jaw dropped to the floor and my heart pounded in pure bliss.
THIS WAS MY DREAM HOME.
I immediately hit record so I would be able to share this dream with my other half.
Safe to say it's now our dream.
